Flora Institute of Technology was established in 2011 by Hon. Dr. Atul Padalkar. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, and is permanently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), complying with all the norms and standards of engineering education.
Founded with the aim of delivering quality higher education on par with international standards, the Institute continually adopts innovative teaching methodologies and industry-relevant practices. Flora Institute offers Undergraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Civil Engineering, along with Postgraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering (Design) and Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering). To support these programs, we provide modern infrastructure, including spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, a central computer centre, and a comprehensive central library.
Facilities also include fully furnished seminar halls for academic and extracurricular activities, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a gymnasium, on-campus medical care, and a cafeteria for students and staff.
